As you might guess, RockstarDad is a musician. It isn’t his day job, but it is what ignites his soul.
RockstarDad has a beautiful soul. It is like a low-burning furnance, steady and strong. (He’s pretty hot on the outside, too 
)
I am very blessed to have a husband who is this patient, loving and kind; it is a miracle in and of itself that he loves me. The fact that he is such an awesome dad just makes him a Rockstar.
Now, before you get too jealous, RockstarDad ain’t perfect. He leaves socks all over the house and does not roll out of bed spry as a jackbean to go get the kids when they are screaming at 3am.
On the other hand, he does bath time and bed time routines with the kiddos every night and usually lets me workout/walk/read/play on the internet during this time.
It had been my lifelong dream to raise children on a farm, so – despite my husband’s severe allergies to grass, hay, dust, mold and animal dander – he fully supported me by spending all of our retirement on my dream farm, including cattle. And when, hugely pregnant with toddler in tow, I was unable to take care of the cows and maintain the farm like I *promised* I would, he took over all the additional duties the farm required without complaint or condemnation.
My husband works 50+ hours a week at a “real” job to pay our mortgage but still finds time to consistently take care of all the house/farm maintenance tasks, make it home for dinner almost every night, joyfully play with the kids every evening – including baths and bedtime routines – and take the kids somewhere on Saturday morning to give me a break from my full-time job as a stay-at-home mom. He loves being a dad and is an awesome father. I am so blessed, grateful and proud to be his wife.
I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this thing called Life. Thank you, RockstarDad. I love you.
